WHERE: Second and Pine
WHAT: Eyewear brand Warby Parker brings is big yellow bus to Seattle this summer as part of its nationally touring Class Trip. The retrofitted school bus is stocked with the brand's latest spec collection and a team of stylists ready to help you find your perfect pair.
Who knew eyewear events would be such a big thing this year?
We're big fans of the brand and its buy-a-pair, give-a-pair commitment. Several of us Seattle Meters of the four-eyed variety rock Warby Parker's smart, modern frames. (I'm obsessed with my unisex Crosby set.)
Glasses start at just $95 a pair, including prescription lenses. Bring your Rx to the bus and the team can get an order started, or pick up a pair of non-prescription sunglasses from Warby Parker's summer collection to take home that day.
WHEN: Find the tricked out school bus parked Wednesday through Sunday from June 13 to July 7 from 11 to 7 each day. Can't make it out? Warby Parker will ship five trial pairs to your home (for free!) for five days of bespectacled brooding over which ones to choose.
