Since starting as a Seattle Met editorial intern in 2012, Amanda Zurita has moved through the ranks, working on projects ranging from patterned-filled fashion features to the city’s best guide to getting a hair cut and the breaking news of Zara’s big opening. She she was appointed editor in chief of the award-winning Seattle Met Bride and Groom magazine in 2014.
Having grown up in Oklahoma and Venezuela (and making it out with no accent to speak of), she first came to Seattle for its exceptional scenery, considerably more progressive attitude, and to study Latin and Communications at the University of Washington. When she’s not scanning the local style scene, she’s likely hanging out with her dog, Hadrian, or off working as a tour guide and guidebook researcher in Europe.
