Producer
Jane Sherman
Art Director
Jane Sherman designs covers, features, and various departments in Seattle Met. One of her many joys in life is working closely with talented illustrators and photographers to create images that enhance and complement the magazine’s editorial content.
She was born in Minneapolis—it’s a lot like Seattle but flatter, and decidedly snowier—and lived there until moving to Seattle in 2007. She cut her teeth in editorial design doing the weekly grind, first as associate art director at City Pages in Minneapolis and eventually producing hundreds of covers—one a week for several years—at Seattle Weekly (some of them even won an award or two).
In her spare time you might find Jane at the dog park with her coonhound Watson, taking a pottery class, drawing, or more likely taking a nap.
