Hula Hula’s 10th Anniversary Party
It’s time for tiki tinctures and booze in a volcano bowl, people. Lower Queen Anne’s Hula Hula, the karaoke bar sibling of Tini Bigs cocktail lounge, is celebrating a decade of colorful, umbrella-adorned drinks, which likely fuel a lot of karaoke nights. As Tini Bigs bids farewell at the end of the year due to a demolishing of its building, owners of the neighboring Hula Hula seeks new digs. But for now at least, toasts to ten years in its OG location with half off tiki drinks and call booze; starts at 4.

Deck the Halls with Hops and Barley
Chuck’s Hop Shop in the Central District has invited some festive guests: Santa, Mrs. Claus, and a troupe of elves are coming to town. Take a photo with Ol’ Saint Nick, or hey, bring the kids and pups along too if they’re into that sort of thing. Meanwhile, expect some winter ales and seasonal favorites from the likes of Two Beers Brewing Company, Fremont Brewing, Rogue Ales and Spirits, Hop Valley, and more. Free from 7 to 9, but you may want to arrive early (and drink beer while you wait).

Vegans IRL at Sugar Plum
Are you vegan and ready to mingle? Sugar Plum, Plum Bistro’s sweet shop sib, is hosting a gathering of like-minded vegans to chat in real life and, duh, eat soft serve ice cream, cookies, cupcakes, and brownies. Interact with actual people from Vegan City Seattle over specialty drinks and boozy floats, this is a 21 and over event after all. Starts at 5.

Charles Smith’s 1st Annual Holiday Bash
Cast away notions of wine snob stereotypes, award-winning winemaker Charles Smith just wants you drink some really great wine in his really big Georgetown urban winery. And while you're sipping on that Broncho malbec, listen to three bands from Mike McCready’s music label: Danny Newcomb and the Sugarmakers, Stereo Embers, and Star Anna. Beyond wine there will be beer from Georgetown Brewing, plus food from People’s Burger and Meat on a Mission available for purchase. Tickets are $10, or $5 when you bring in a nonperishable food or toy donation. Doors at 6.

King Donut’s Farewell Party
Come say goodbye to Rainier Beach’s teriyaki joint plus laudromat plus doughnut shop. After three decades, owners Heng Hay and Chea Pol are closing up shop—and who can blame them after pulling 14-hour shifts for 30 years. But before they get some much-deserved rest and relaxation, have some apple-abundant fritters and other glazed goods one last time. The farewell party starts at 3; the very last day of business is December 20.

Feast of the Seven Fishes at Bar del Corso
Chef Melissa Miranda of the Il Vizietto popup, is combining her Italian culinary background with her Filipino roots for a twist on the Feast of the Seven Fishes, or La Vigilia as it’s also known in Italy, at Bar del Corso. Cooked in a traditional Filipino fashion, this meal will spotlight seven dishes of fish and other seafood, plus Filipino desserts aplenty. There will also be special drinks, a full bar, live music, and local art. Tickets are $65, with seatings starting at 6 and 8:30.

Drunk Santa Party at Linda’s Tavern
Pregame familial holiday obligations at this drunken yet very jolly festivus. Snap a photo with Drunk Santa, his Angry Elf, and...a Sexy Reindeer. Variety is the spice of life, right?
