Northwest Winter Beer Tasting
Ivar’s Acres of Clam’s waterfront location is hosting its Northwest winter beer tasting Thursday at 6pm, giving beer lovers the chance to meet brewers from Georgetown, Maritime, Elysian, 10 Barrel, and many other breweries. For $40 indulge on seafood delicacies like gorgonzola risotto fritters with roasted tomato sauce, house smoked salmon sliders and shrimp, chicken, and Uli’s chorizo picante sausage gumbo.

Beginning with a tasting at Molbak’s Garden + Home, Woodinville wine country is hosting their 5th annual St. Nicks weekend  sourcing over 30 Washington wineries for $55 on Friday. On Dec. 5($65) and 6($50) visit the winery's St. Nick’s open house, which offers  exclusive wine options and the scoop on future wine releases.

Capitol Hill's most impressive group of shops and purveyors are putting on an afternoon of food (raclette nachos, double smoked ham, charcuterie) and holiday wines from Bar Ferd'nand while you shop for holiday gifts at Marigold and Mint and Butter Home. Saboteur bakery and Basic Doughnuts will be on hand as carby special guests. Festivities happen from 11am to 4pm; the holiday market will raise funds for Mary's Place.

SMooCH Benefit Concert at The Showbox
Seattle Musicians for Children’s Hospital (SMooCH) marks their fourth annual evening of music and food, specifically a pre-concert menu by guest chef Ethan Stowell plus chefs like Josh Henderson and Brendan McGill (VIP access required) paired with wine from Sleight of Hand Cellars and Mark Ryan winery.  Enjoy KEXP-hosted live music including The Afghan Wigs, Seattle’s very own Sir Mix-A-Lot and Mary Lambert and a surprise artist. The jam-packed night will benefit Seattle Children’s Uncompensated Care Fund offering less fortunate and insuranceless families with the means to cover medical expenses. General admission tickets are $50.

Teaming up with the One Night Only Project, Il Corvo chef Mike Easton is preparing a Sicilian-inspired Christmas Eve dinner equipped with an authentic multi-course menu at the Italian restaurant Il Corvo. Paired with select Cavatappi wines, anticipate dishes like spaghetti alla chitarra in sepia ink sauce topped with ricotta, smoked swordfish with fried capers and more. Tickets are $165.

T-Doug's cooking school is debuting a holiday gathering of local bakers, brewers, and food purveyors, all on hand with potential holiday gift items.
