Schooner Exact Hoppy the Woodsman

Every year, the brewery’s Hoppy Holidays winter ale takes at least a six-month sojourn in barrels, returning with a bourbon character and just a bit of vanilla, caramel, and, yes, hops. The season is rife with culty winter beer releases; this is one of the best. schoonerexact.com

Columbia Crest H3 Les Chevaux Red Wine Horse Heaven Hills 2012

This blend of mostly syrah and merlot is easily one of the best values to come out of Washington this year with notes of plum, blue-berry, and chocolate backed by a silky smooth feel. columbiacrest.com

Westland Sherry Wood American Single-Malt Whiskey
