One thing that didn't change: the stunning views of Shilshole Bay. Sweeping panoramas are visible throughout the dining room.

Ray's Boathouse, one of Seattle's most iconic restaurants (and ultimate seafood destinations) closed in mid-October to undergo an extensive remodel. Now it's time for the big reveal.

The revamp, helmed by Mallet Inc., comes as Ray's nears 40 years in the business. Owners are marking the milestone with new appointments inspired by vintage Chris-Craft boats, the addition of a 30-foot bar, and a layout meant to maximize the stunning views.

Hit the slide show to look around before Ray's reopens Monday at 5pm.
