Sicily by the Sea
As part of its series of local chef dinners, Juicebox is inviting Mike Easton of Il Corvo to the shop for a four-course dinner starting at 7:30. Here he will create a dinner influenced by his take on the lighter side of Sicilian cooking, including rockfish crudo, spaghetti-cut eggplant with anchovies and capers, and wild fennel sorbet. Dinner is served family style and includes wine pairings. Tickets are $90 and available online–space is limited. The dinner can be substituted with gluten-free ingredients as well.

Mixology 101: Cider Overview
The folks at Tommy Gun are bringing back Mixology 101, a series of classes to get in the know about cocktail skills and practices. Each class will cover the cocktail basics, including how to use glassware and bar tools, bartending techniques, and recipes for classic drinks and current trends. To commence, Tyler Phillips of Tieton Cider Works will be sharing insight on cider. Starting at 4, this small class will teach you about cider and cider cocktails. And apparently it’s not all about the apple anymore–cherry, apricot, and a dry-hopped varietal will be available for testing. The class is $40 and there is very limited space. Email [email protected] to claim your spot.

Saturday Dinner Series at Delicatus
Returning to a dinner series, this Pioneer Square spot is hosting a dinner inspired by northwest comfort food. Chef Aaron Willis has created a three-course meal including caramelized onion salad, grilled Lan-Roc Farms pork rack, and family-style sides. Cocktails start at 6:30 with a complimentary aperitif and the dinner begins at 7.  The dinner’s pricetag is $40, plus tax and gratuity.  Reservation can be made online.
