Host of Check, Please! Northwest and food writer Amy Pennington has recently released her third cookbook Apples: From Harvest to Table. Here, her simple yet decadent recipes are a spin-off of Grandma’s traditional apple pie. From recipes like apple cider doughnuts to chicken curry salad with apples and parsley, Pennington can find an apple twist in nearly everything. In Season by Greg Atkinson
Marché’s own Greg Atkinson is releasing a new edition of his book with more recipes and photography done by Charity Burggraaf. With 70 mouth-watering recipes divided by the seasons, the pages feature dishes such as gingered rhubarb meringue tart, fresh strawberry sorbet, roast chicken with herbs, and kale sautéed in amber butter.
