Sip on bubbles while you shop for baubles, namely, the elegant jewelry by designer Kendall Conrad. From 3 to 7 at Capitol Hill's Stock and Pantry, Conrad will be in store showing her latest styles and accessories.

Visette Boutique Sample Sale
Purging one's closet is rarely ever easy. It's messy, involves negotiating (But someday I might need to wear this edgy frock that's never fit right.), requires a couple of your most discerning friends, and definitely a bottle of wine...or two. That's shop owner Sam Visal's method at least. She's cleared out decades of gently worn designer wear from her closet to sell in Visette Boutique's sample sale alongside newer fashions for all seasons from the shop. On Wednesday, get a VIP sneak peek of the sale's selections from 7 to 10pm, while Thursday everyone can shop the sample sale all day.

The 6th Annual Independent Designer Runway Show
This year, seven local talents will send their designs down the catwalk as part of a months-long mentorship program. The up-and-coming designers will also compete for some money bags, well a $5,000 cash prize. Beyond dollar signs, the winners of the IDRS have always highlighted some badass designers in Seattle. $75

Posh Party Trend Show
This will be fun for those who want to see a look book come to life. Friday evening means fall 2017 fashions that you can find at the Bellevue Collection—no more wishing you could snag those runway pieces. Monica Hart will host this lively show meets girl’s night out, where there will be beauty stations at which to try out the season’s hair and makeup trends. It wouldn’t be a girl’s night out without drinks, snacks, and, sure, a beauty swag bag. $75

The Collective Runway Show
It’s all be leading up to this night. On Saturday, designer Christian Siriano—yes, that Christian Siriano winner of Project Runway—will host the show in which smaller boutiques and national retailers alike will show off their latest collections. $100

Plant Sale Popup at Volunteer Park Conservatory 
One of Seattle's most Instagrammed green spaces, if not the most, is hosting another event wherein those photogenic succulents and orchids you love so much are for sale; some are, rather. Earlier this month, Volunteer Park Conservatory had its annual fall plant sale and there seems to be plenty of greenery left to take home. check it out from noon until 3. Free

Whittle While You Work, a Wooden Spoon Workshop
Join Shop, if you haven't yet heard, is a bright haven of artful home goods by independent makers in South Lake Union. Take one such San Francisco–based designer, Melanie Abrantes, who's visiting Seattle to teach a spoon carving workshop and launch her new book, Carve: A Simple Guide to Whittling. The Saturday workshop runs from 1–4pm, during which Abrantes will teach each wood-wielding student how to carve a spoon using Japanese techniques and tools. Workshoppers will receive a signed copy of the book with a ticket purchase. $100
