For Victoria Postolit, each design starts with the fabric. As a young girl, growing up in the former Soviet Union, she listened to her great grandmother's stories of creating fabrics and combining them with hand-crocheted lace and needle point embroidery. After moving to Seattle in 2001 (and working with retail heavyweights like Nordstrom), Victoria created her own line focusing on wearable fabrics and timeless designs. Expect to see flattering silhouettes, clean lines, block colors, and subtle detailing from the talented designer at this year’s Independent Designer Runway Show on September 23.
