WHERE: David Barton Gym

WHAT: September may be Runway month, but don't rule out some great catwalk moments before then. Seneca and Spruce's kicks off their Seattle-centric online magazine and retail shop with a showcase and official launch party.

The shindig aims to spotlight local up-and-coming designers, meaning you can expect names like Mia Fioravanti, Carole McClellan, Sarsen, Tom Ordonio, Klad Apparel, Oddinary Garments, and Jaleh Clothing just to name a few.

Tickets range from $15 to $40; buy them here. VIP spots run you the most and include front row seats, drinks and bites, a swag bag, $50 to spend at Seneca and Spruce, and a spot on the after-party list at Blue Martini. Take it down a level and pay $25 for a ticket that includes cocktails and food, reserved seats, a gift bag, and $25 to spend at SS. If you're okay with sips, snacks, and show, spend $15 for your place.

Check in with the shop's Facebook event page for updates.

WHEN: Friday, August 15. Doors open at 7, the show runs from 8 to 10 with the meet and greet party to follow.
