Sarah Palin's Sarah PAC contributed $5,000 to Republican 1st Congressional District candidate John Koster, according to the latest campaign fiance reports—which track big donations every 48 hours now in the runup to the election. Koster also got a $5,000 contribution of house majority leader—and former Tea Party leader—Rep. Eric Cantor's PAC, bringing his total raised in the last 48 hours to $13,500.

(The 48-hour reporting began on October 17; money raised between Oct. 1 and mid-month—which came in after the recent third quarter fundraising report which ended on Sept. 30— will be reported later this week in the final pre-election report.)

Koster joins a slect list of socially conservative candidates who have gotten money from Palin, including Kirk Adams, a state legislator in Arizona who's running for congress and boasts about ending abortion services at local Planned Parenthoods and Martha Zoller, a right wing talk talk show host running for Congress for the new 9th District in Georgia who wants to eliminate the Departments of energy, education, and commerce, along with the Environmental Protection Agency.

Her plan announces:  “In the name of tolerance, radical liberals seek to destroy anything related to God or our Judeo-Christian heritage and remove it from the public square…”

Koster's opponent, Democrat Suzan DelBene got $5,000 total according to her 48-hour report of big donations; the contributions include personal donations from local business execs at companies such as Discovery Bay Games, Seattle Genetics, and Prolitec Inc.

As of September 30, DelBene had raised $3.4 million ($2.3 million of it being her own) with $486,000 cash on hand. Koster had raised $921,000  with $317,000 cash on hand.
