Ride Bike, Eat Free Pizza, Drink Cheap Beer

By Josh Cohen May 12, 2010

If the health benefits, fun, and license to be a self-satisfied urbanite weren't enough reason to ride a bike, how about free pizza and cheap beer? Starting tonight and running for the next five Wednesdays from 5-7 p.m., Via Tribunali is giving away a free margherita pizza and $3 Peroni beers to anyone who rides their bike to the restaurant.

The event is taking place at a different location each week and the money raised by beer sales (and from donations) will go to different bike organizations. Tonight the free pie is at the Georgetown Via Tribunali and benefits Bike Works.

The full schedule:

May 12: Georgetown, 6009 12th Ave S., benefiting Bike Works
May 19: Capitol Hill, 913 East Pike St., benefiting The Garage Cycling Team
May 26: Queen Anne, 317 West Galer, benefiting Trips for Kids Seattle- a Cascade Bicycle Club Program
June 2: Belltown, 2200 2nd Ave., benefiting Bicycle Alliance of Washington
