Ma'ono chef Mark Fuller has joined forces with Doug Kawasaki on a new plant-based burger joint, coming to the Denny Regrade as early as next month.

Next Level Burger
Speaking of burgers of the vegetarian persuasion, this Oregan-based joint is opening its first Seattle spot on August 25 in the Roosevelt Square Whole Foods.

Bakery Nouveau
A bakeshop well known and loved for its impossibly flaky croissants and delightful cakes will a flagship location in Burien this September. Located at 426 SW 153rd Street, the new spot will be open daily with fresh breads, pastries, and expanded chocolate confectionary.

Come 2018, Autumn Martin and Kari Brunson will open a second location housing their frozen, plant-based creations in Ballard.


Remedy Teas
According to Capitol Hill Blog, the 15th Avenue tea shop is closing its doors after ten years on Capitol Hill. Owner Christopher Glenn has renamed it Modern Steep and is focusing on the shop's burgeoning online business.
