Two Seattle chefs will show up on upcoming episodes of Food Network programs Beat Bobby Flay and Iron Chef Gauntlet this March and April.

Vuong Loc of Chinapie and Pomerol will appear on a March 23 installment of Beat Bobby Flay. The competition show has chefs compete against each other, with the victor facing off in a second round against the cat-loving celebrity chef. Chinapie, the restaurant that Loc will be representing on the show, serves Neapolitan-style pizza with a distinct Asian flair in the toppings...think foie gras and hoisin sauce.

Shota Nakajima of Adana—the more casual rendition of his former kaiseki house, Naka—will represent on Iron Chef Gauntlet on April 16. Hosted by Alton Brown, Gauntlet represents the latest rendition of the Iron Chef franchise. Nakajima will recreate the dishes he used on the show for Adana patrons after his episode airs, according to the Seattle Times

Obviously neither chef can divulge details about their performances on these shows, but best of luck all around.
