Tiki Party at Vito’s
The storied cocktail lounge on First Hill is transforming into a Riviera-inspired tiki bar this Thursday. Starting at 8pm, Vito’s will be slinging “amari-forward tropical drinks” for its second annual tiki-and-amaro party. There will also be special appetizers and live tunes.

Summer Shuffles at TanakaSan
Sake slushies. Snacks. Shuffleboard. This T-Doug restaurant in Denny Regrade will host all three up on its mezzanine this Saturday at 7. A $20 ticket includes two boozy drinks, TanakanSan snacks throughout the evening, and entry into the shuffleboard tournament. Playing is optional, but please do pledge fealty to a shuffleboard team like they’re all competing for the iron throne. It makes things more interesting.

Sweet Fest at Mighty-O Donuts
This doughnut bakery in Ballard has parklet-shaped dreams, so this Tuesday, Mighty-O will host an event to raise funds for an outdoor space. The Sweet Fest will have the proposed parklet plans on display, origami boat making fun times for kids, plus free doughnuts and Molly Moon’s ice cream for all. The fundraiser—short but sweet—is from 6 to 8.

Mezcal Fest at The Barrel Thief
It’s not all barrel-aged spirits all the time at this Fremont bar. The Barrel Thief will be celebrating the complexity of mezcal as well as offering a crash course in the agave-based drink at their Mezcal Fest. This Tuesday from 4 to 11, drop by for 20 percent off all mezcals and flights, plus special mezcal cocktails du jour. At 7, a private, seated tasting will discuss mezcal production in every which way; tickets for this are $40 per person.

Reservation Alert: Holy Mountain Beer Dinner at Le Petit Cochon
Beer dinners make for better Wednesdays. That’s science for you. Each course, five in all, will be paired with a Holy Mountain Brewery beer. But first, charcuterie. The evening begins at 6:45 with charcuterie and socializing. Then chef Derek Ronspies will get the coursed dinner started with halibut ceviche, then chili soy–glazed spare ribs, pan roasted monkfish with black garlic puree, and lavender sponge cake with honey ice cream. As for the beer, there will be a crowd-pleasing citra extra pale ale and plenty of seasonal saisons. Dinner is $98 per person; be sure to call Le Petit Cochon for reservations of 2 or 4 people.
