The Hawaiian-styled food truck Sam Choy's Poke to the Max is set to open its first brick-and-mortar location this weekend in Hillman City. Expect all the 'ono grinds' from the food truck, and a meet-and-greet with the man himself, Hawaiian celeb chef Sam Choy. Poke To The Max is located at 5300 Rainier Avenue S, and is open Tuesday-Sundays.

A new fast-casual pasta restaurant is coming to Seattle this summer, reports Eater Seattle. Dueminuti ("two minutes" in Italian) is currently testing pasta recipes which will feature in its first store on Capitol Hill, in a space holding an open kitchen and "Pasta Lab" where anything from pasta machines to scientific equipment will be on display while your food is made.

The "gastrotavern" concept is taking over the space formerly occupied by 22 Doors, reports Capitol Hill Seattle blog. It will offer a travel-inspired menu with most dishes made to share, with a wine list, handcrafted cocktails, and local beers on tap.

Feed Co. Burgers
Scott Staples' fast-casual burger spot
is planning to open another burger joint in the Central District by fall this year, according to Capitol Hill Seattle. The casual counter-style Feed Co. will be housed in the Stencil development on E Union, serving burgers, shakes, and salads, and sharing the building with the likes of Union Coffee.


Biscuit Bitch
The beloved biscuit-slinging counter will be opening its third location in Pioneer Square at the end of the month, reports Eater Seattle. Expect a sit-down cafe space with a full espresso bar with coffee from Ballard's Seven Coffee Roasters, and the usual menu full of biscuity goodness.
