This Week in Happy Hour: Moscow Mule Edition

The notorious mugs at Ba Bar.

The Moscow Mule mug thieves have been busy, as Tan Vinh reported in The Seattle Times in May. Yes, those vintage copper mugs are fancy and keep drinks super cold, but I ask, politely, please stop ruining it for all of us. The Mule comes in all sorts of boozy varietals and that mix of ginger beer and lime is a perfectly refreshing summer drink. Visit one of these four happy hours to find it on special.
Ba Bar
All day on Sunday and Monday, Moscow Mules are available for $5, along with a handful of other cocktails. The daily happy hour runs from 3 to 7pm with hearty Vietnamese noodle soups for $6, dumplings, and spicy chicken wings. Lighter fare includes a $4 cucumber salad and an assortment of two-for-$5 grilled skewers.
MistralKitchen
This industrially clad bar and lounge offers happy hour daily from 4 to 6:30. There are featured classic cocktails for $6, and $4 off the Mistral house cocktail list, which prices the Moscow Mule with Fever Tree ginger beer at $8. The $1 oysters and snacks, like pistachio brittle and foie gras mousse, class up that post-work HH session.
Oliver's Twist
Happy hour at this tasteful neighborhood bar runs Monday through Thursday from 5 to 7, and Friday and Saturday 4 to 6. On Sunday, though, there's no time limit on the $2-off Twist cocktails or Moscow Mules at $7. Blue cheese stuffed dates, duck fat fingerling potatoes, and Salumi's mole salami are all $1 off, as are all the savory and sweet options.
The Innkeeper
Experience a Latin happy hour from 3 to 6pm with Mules for $5, along with a refreshing Paloma and rum punch at the same price. A $1- to $2-tapas menu includes housemade pickles, oysters on the half shell, beef pincho (aka meat on a stick). If you get there early, try for a seat on the back patio.
