Mark your calendar and gird your liver.

BEER

Brouwer's: Cellar Nights (April 2)
Every Tuesday in April, Fremont's beer mecca is drawing some rare beer names out of a hat and hoisting those brews out of its cellar. The announcement happens around noon every Tuesday and they'll be on tap by 5. Seattle Beer News has more details and the list of contenders.

WINE

John Howie Steak: Guest Sommelier Nights (April 4)
The Bellevue steakhouse has introduced a Thursday-night guest somm series. This week wine director and somm Lisa Rongren has invited Jeanne Cabral of Heitz Cellars over to play from 6 to 9. And by "play" I mean pouring two- and four-ounce pours of vineyard-designated cabernet sauvignon and other dazzling wines.

SPIRITS

Bookstore Bar: Irish Whiskey Tasting (April 4)
Kilbeggan Distilling Company is coming by at 7pm with some rarities, including the flagship Kilbeggan, the single malt Tyrconnell, the single grain Greenore and the Connemara. A $45 ticket gets you tastings and pair-friendly bites. Reserve your spot by emailing bookstorebarevents@alexishotel.com.

Vessel: Guest Bartender Jen Colliau (April 4)
The San Francisco bartender and creator of Small Hands Syrups is in town and plying her trade from 6 to midnight.
