On the hunt for oysters? Take a seat at Ballard Annex Oyster House.

Ballard Annex Oyster House
At this week-old Ballard Ave looker bivalves are $1.50 each and drafts a dollar off every day between 3:30 and 5:30. Choose from six beers including Maritime's Old Seattle Lager, Elysian Dragonstooth Oatmeal Stout, or Northwest Peak's Redoubt Red.

Hotel 1000's resident restaurant is reinstating Whiskey Wednesday. That means flights featuring three pours go for $12.

The Gastropod
The also-week-old Gastropod, a teensy brewpub opened by Epic Ales brewer Cody Morris and chef Travis Kukull, is doing dollar oysters on Wednesdays—an excellent opportunity to sample Morris's excellent beers, eight of which are on tap.

Rain Shadow Meats Squared
Russ Flint just got his hands on a liquor license for this Pioneer Square newcomer, and so "butcher's happy hour" is in full swing weekdays from 3 to 6. There are bites and plates both hot and cold; the menu is predictably meaty: steak tartare, corned beef hash, housemade sausage, charcuterie by the ounce (kale salad, cheeses, and olives also make an appearance). Drinks include Scrimshaw pilsner on tap, celery soda shandy, and glasses of wine.

Whole Foods Westlake
Missed Tuesday's epic oyster hour, in which each shuck is only 69 cents? Employees say another one is happening soon enough in April. They have yet to nail down a definitive date but say it'll likely be the last week of the month.
