Protest at Lark
Over the weekend our intrepid web editor at-large found himself smack in the middle of a sidewalk protest at Lark, where owner-chef Johnathan Sundstrom (along with a slew of other restaurateurs in town) serves fois gras, the delicacy crafted from force-fed fowl. This does not sit well with folks at People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, (PETA), which chose this weekend to show up in front of Sundstrom’s restaurant handing out PETA flyers and chanting, “How many ducks must die today! How many geese must die in vain! Lark is to blame!”
One of them, our embedded journalist reports, was dressed as a duck.
