Is Vicci Martinez a Shoo-In for the Final 4 of The Voice?

Judges agreed she had the "coolest performance" last night.

Don’t want to jinx things here… but after Tacoma’s Vicci Martinez dominated with her performance of Florence and the Machine’s "The Dog Days Are Over" on The Voice last night, she has more than a fighting chance to advance to the final four tonight. Even with her new Snooky-styled hair poof. Voting closed at 10am ET this morning, so there’s nothing we can do now but wait…and buy iTunes. Biggest threat? Javier Colon, a soul singer who threw the judges into a frenzy just by taking his hat off.

The Voice airs on NBC tonight at 8 (not the usual 9pm start).

UPDATED 6/23/11. Vicci advances! But this was no shoo-in. Cee-Lo gave her fewer points than teammate Nakia (49 to 51); she advanced with the help of the audience, which favored her over Nakia 124-76, whatever that means. Vicci joins Javier Colon, Beverly McClellan, and Dia Frampton in the finals next week.
