THURSDAY, MARCH 19

Jack’s BBQ and SweetBumpas Dinner
A short but sweet reminder that the barbecue-and-desserts-filled event is coming up soon. More details in last week’s Nosh Pit Weekly Planner

SATURDAY, MARCH 21

The Pine Box Turns 3
This mortuary-turned-bar is hammering a third nail into its pine box, marking its third year of beering Capitol Hill. To celebrate, Holy Mountain Brewing has created the 3rd Nail anniversary ale, continuing a tradition of special birthday brews at the Pine Box. Previous anniversary ales, the 1st Nail by Fremont Brewing and 2nd Nail by 10 Barrel in Bend, will also be tapped for the evening’s festivities alongside a myriad of rare beers.

Snohomish on the Rocks Distillery Festival
North of Seattle at Thomas Family Farm over 20 local distillers will be doing tasting sessions of award-winning vodkas, gins, and whiskeys; the likes of Oola, Westland Distillery, and 3Howls among them. There will be two sessions of spirit swilling at Snohomish On The Rocks Distillery Festival: from 2 to 5, or 6 to 9. A $60 VIP ticket gets you an earlier 1pm entrance to the festival, admission to both tasting sessions, plus a lot of swag. Otherwise, general admission tickets are $30.

SUNDAY, MARCH 22

Bainbridge Island’s Restaurant Marché Also Turns 3
Three years of Greg Atkinson's Pacific Northwest fare calls for a special prix-fixe dinner this Sunday—though the birthday officially landed on Saint Patrick’s Day. Restaurant Marché's four-course menu includes dishes like wild Alaskan King salmon with braised leeks, rhubarb compote, and fingerling potatoes. For dessert, try the pine nut tart filled with orange marmalade, almond paste, with an orange sorbet. Dinner is $50 per person, call 206-842-1633 for reservations.

Bastille Does Parisian Street Fare
The culinary tour de France continues with a nod to Paris’s diverse food culture. Bastille’s second installment of regionally focused French fare runs March 22 through March 26 and consists of a varied lineup of Parisian street food. The weeklong menu includes a braised lamb neck shawarma, a French take on Philly cheese dip with grilled beef tongue, salt cod bahn mì sandwich, and more; dishes range from $10 to $14, with two special cocktails at $11.

TUESDAY, MARCH 24
