Seattle’s Massive Monkees, 2012 world-champion break-dancers, have opened a temporary studio the Beacon in the ID, where they teach the next generation of b-boys and b-girls to spin, flip, and float. Over at the Showbox, breakdancers will compete in an all-day blowout—the 14th Massive Monkees Day—to support youth dance programs. Break for a cause.
