Queen of the avant-garde. Enfant terrible. Bad girl. For more than 30 years, Montreal dancer Marie Chouinard has been making a statement with wildly provocative choreography—dropping raw eggs onstage, or undulating and growling while wearing a ram's horn. Her company’s Le sacre du printemps, to be performed partially nude at Meany Hall, is a fitting companion to Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring, which caused a riot when it premiered in 1913.
