A brisk fall morning on the sunny shores of Lake Washington was the setting for Hopelink’s 15^th annual Turkey Trot 5K fun run & walk November 22. This year, 1,350 trotters raised nearly $53,000 to help provide emergency services, heating and holiday assistance to low-income families in east and north King County who often struggle to get by during the winter months. Most participants followed a more leisurely pace, however race winner Dean Willis, participant #1229 clocked the course in 15:40:28!
