The weather could not have been more perfect for the eighth-annual South Lake Union Block Party, sponsored by Thousands descended upon South Lake Union to sample food from the neighborhood’s best restaurants, vote for their favorite burger, and listen to spicy emcee, El-Vez. Funds raised for Plymouth Housing Group totaled $18,500 via the sold-out burger-grilling contest, food sampling tickets, and the packed Brave Horse Tavern beer garden.
