The city is never more on-point fashion wise than at the annual Nordstrom Designer Preview. Attendees dig out their highest heels, biggest ball gowns, and most dapper of suits for an evening of all-out enjoyment. This year—with a guest list that included out-of-state Vogue editors, fashion bloggers, shoe designers, global DJs, and more—you all really dressed to the nines (the tens even...).
We were on hand with photographer Miles Fortune to catch all the glorious arrivals, retail perusals, and back-stage happenings at Pier 91 last Thursday. Check out the photos below and stay tuned for our coverage of the NDP runway.
This year's show featured 35 models (many of them local gals).
Aside from the fashion trends, models sported fall's best beauty looks like this bold berry lip with a neutral all-over eyeshadow.
The valet line saw guests in their best Chanel and Valentino looks (plus loads of sun glasses for the perfectly warm summer evening).
Blogger and stylist Sarah Butler arrives in a chic check print and Chloé handbag.
Floral prints were popular both on and off the runway.
Nordstrom's senior editor of special projects (and former Seattle Met style editor) Laura Cassidy hangs with Refinery29's senior style editor Annie Georgia Greenberg and fashion director Paula Goldstein Di Principe.
Inside, attendees could shop current and past seasons of all the designers featured.
Mary Alice Malone and Roy Luwolt, founders of the luxury shoe brand Malone Souliers, recently penned a partnership with Nordstrom. Malone described the brand's signature lace-up aesthetic as "shoes with life." Their fall collection features mixed colors and textures in stand-out silhouettes.
Ever-colorful guests enjoyed cocktails and desserts (and welcome places to rest) after the big event.
