WHAT: Just in time for Earth Day, the Worn Wear wagon is coming to town. As part of its Worn Wear campaign, launched in 2013, Patagonia has taken repairs on the road, bringing its tricked-out biodiesel vehicle across the country to encourage customers to lengthen the lives of their gear.
The program aims to keep clothing in circulation, thereby reducing consumption and waste, and taking some pressure off our planet.
Experts from Patagonia will be on hand to repair rips and tears, missing buttons, draw cords, zippers, patches, and more—all for free. Further, garments can be from any brand, and staff will help teach guests methods for repairing pieces at home.
A selection of used Patagonia pieces will also be for sale at a discount.
WHEN: The truck pulls up on Wednesday, April 15 from noon to 7. Patagonia will host a special screening of its Worn Wear film at 7:30.
