Grain Popup on Bainbridge Island

The Bainbridge-based design duo hosts a day-trip-worthy popup for the month of November.

WHERE: New event space/popup host Charrette on Bainbridge Island

WHAT: Husband and wife team Chelsea and James Minola have been attracting attention with their (mostly) made in Washington housewares and lighting line Grain since launching in 2008. They count accolades at New York Design Week, shelf space at over 150 stores globally, and prestigious press coverage among Grain's many accomplishments. But what hill haven't they climbed? The one in their own backyard.

For the first time the Minolas present the Grain collection in their hometown headquarters of Bainbridge with a popup featuring the entire current lineup. A hoopla like this is usually reserved for big-city trade shows, so whether your an island resident or city dweller it's worth the trip to check out the brand's array of Northwest inspired, sustainably produced goods.

WHEN: Pop in to the popup on Thursdays through Sundays from noon to 6 until it closes on November 24. Appointments are available for times outside opening hours by calling Grain at 206-915-1200.
