The New York Times says dudes with painted nails are, you know, a thing.

In Manly Manicures End in Color, Rachel Felder introducing the subject while describing a pretty butch-sounding fellow in Scottsdale who just so happens to like accompanying his wife to the day spa.

She goes on to introduce a male-angled lacquer line called Alpha Nail, that ... wait for it ... markets to boxers and other tough guys.

I have to admit, I'm intrigued by the company's claims of tough, matte finishes and long-lasting, fight-proof color, but I guess I'm a little dubious about men in polish.
