Lip Color of the Month: Hint of Hazelnut

We bring on the bronze with a sheer metallic shade from Clinique.

If this week's forecast is any indication, summer just might maybe possibly (fingers crossed) have arrived. Which means we're swapping our sweet spring shades in favor of a sunshine-inspired nude and bronze palette.

It seems like the red carpet is behind our sunkissed switch: Tastemakers like Erin Fetherston, Olivia Palermo, and Adriana Lima all arrived at last weekend's Vogue CFDA Awards sporting fresh faces and glowing gowns.

To make the transition into bronze-goddess mode, we picked up Clinique's cult-followed Chubby Stick in Heaping Hazelnut, a sheer burnished hue with a hint of shimmer. More like a lightweight balm than a lipstick, its formula includes copious amounts of Shea butter to ensure that lips stay hydrated under the summer sun.

The allergy-tested beauty brand even makes it easy to just toss the color in your beach bag and go: The stick doesn't ever need sharpening, you simply swivel it up to reveal more balm.

Find this sunshiney shade at the University Book Store Clinique counter for $16. Then swipe it on quick and get outside before the weather changes its mind.
