Relaxation haven Vida Spa just added Moroccanoil products and treatments to its indulgent lineup of massages, facials, and ayurvedic treatments.

The California-based line, famous for its collection of frizz-preventing, shine-boosting hair products (celebrity stylist Robert Vetica uses them on celebrity clients like Marion Cotillard and Scarlett Johansson), expanded into skincare about a year ago. The entire Moroccanoil regime is formulated with a blend of Argan oil and fortifying vitamins, but don't be fooled by the name—the products are ultralight and non-greasy, and feel anything but oily

To see if the luxe line lives up to its hype, we stopped by Vida for a test run.

The South Lake Union spa is both cozy and modern (and smells amazing) with a product-filled reception area and plush waiting room. Guests are encouraged to show up for appointments early and stay late so they can kick back in the infrared sauna or just unplug by the fireplace.

We checked into one of Vida's 18 rooms for a Moroccanoil exfoliating session and massage. The treatment uses the line's Body Buff, a dry scrub that absorbs into the skin, unlike most exfoliators that require a post-polish rinse off. The buffing left us baby-soft, with skin that, one week later, still feels smooth and hydrated. And while the body scrub was great, the subsequent massage using the Intense Hydrating Treatment left us feeling like we were a big puddle of Moroccan oil

Book your own hour-long body scrub and massage for $140, and ask for lead massage therapist Brianne Leet—you'll thank us (and the massage gods) later. Or simply pop in to pick up a Moroccanoil product to use at home. Vida Spa carries the entire skincare line plus a small selection of those famous hair products.
