Is it wise to plan ahead for last-minute shopping? We're not sure, but Local knitwear designer Helen Sharp and letterpress artisan Lynda Sherman of Bremelo Press make it possible, on Saturday, December 22.

From noon to 5 that day at Bremelo Press world HQ at 14000 South Jackson Place, you'll find Scottish lambswool and cashmere designed and knit by Sharp into scarves, mittens, hats, and other shapes for between $44 and $140.

Expect bright, color-blocked primary tones and luxe, nuanced neutrals. Sharp knows just what she's doing, and if you're lucky she'll tell you about it—"it" being the small batch production of high-end fashion knits with clever, mindful detailing.

With Sherman's tactile, graphic, well-humored cards and notes, you can almost get away with giving just the sentiment itself, and anyway this in-tandem trunk show stands as a solid option for design- and Seattle-centric giftees on your list. Whether or not you're in a seasons-end rush.
