Lip Color of the Month: Pink Tulip for the Cure

Think pink this month and support breast cancer research with Skinn Cosmetics's twin lipstick and gloss set in pink tulip.

By Amanda Zurita October 8, 2012

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the people behind Skinn Cosmetics are doing their part to spread awareness and raise money for the worthy cause. All month long, 100 percent of sales—not just profits, every cent of the sale—of Skinn's twin set lipstick and lip gloss combo in pink tulip will be donated to the Susan G. Komen foundation for the cure.

Pink tulip is a soft rosy shade that adds a nice pop of color to fall's neutral wardrobe. (If you're like us, you may have found yourself slowly slinking back into dark oversized sweaters and earthy scarves as of late.)

Skinn's double-sided twin set tube houses a creamy lipstick and lustrous gloss. The lipstick side contains collagen-boosting ingredients to plump up your pout, while the gloss has vitamin E, soy, and aloe to keep lips soft and hydrated. In a purse full of glosses and tubes, it's sort of all you need. Use the lipstick alone for a matte shade, top it with gloss for a shiny, saturated look, or stick to the gloss for glistening subtle lips.

Find the set online for $18.50 and look good while doing good this October.
