As Portland’s e-tailer Solestruck fetes the launch of DV8, a collection by Seattle’s Dolce Vita (you remember when the store in Ballard closed; the company’s design and corporate headquarters remain), they’re staging a booze cruise photo shoot kind of thing that’ll be featured on the Solestruck website.

An open bar from 8 to 9 paves the way for locally based Dolce Vita photographer April Brimer to snap party/fashion images of Seattle’s finest as they get the first look at the new sky-high platforms and strappy sandals in the DV8 collection.
