Give It Up: Etro Fragrances

Among Hitchcock’s Etro offerings, Paisley, the Italian brand’s newest scent. Notes of bergamot, orange, sagebrush, geranium, rose, sandalwood, and patchouli, and a vague 90s reference to boot.
Who gets it: The kind of person who can smell this blog post.
Why: Keen noses know. The Italian fashion brand Etro is known for luxurious fabrics and prints—among them, a fair bit of paisley. No surprise then, that their newest fragrance is named after the iconic swirl. But you might as easily go for Pegaso, with notes of bergamot, lime, neroli, basil, pepper, iris, cedarwood, benzoin, and rockrose. Can you smell it from here?
Where to find it: Hitchcock Madrona where co-owner Erica Sheehan recently wrote on the shop’s blog of the latter, “this would be a great summer scent.” Which, honestly, sounds pretty good right about now.
Etro fragrances work for men and women (I do love a gift you can share) and go for $165 a bottle.
