This UW Professor Wants to Send Every Fish Through a CT Scanner

Adam Summers is in the midst of a slightly ambitious project. The UW biology professor, based in Friday Harbor, would like to send every known species of fish—all 33,000 of them—through a CT scanner to create a 3D model of their skeleton. Why? He shared one of his scans to demonstrate what the endeavor can uncover. —MH
