Pioneering Ideas in Global Health

In Epic Measures, journalist Jeremy Smith thoroughly chronicled UW Dr. Christopher Murray's relentless quest to measure health in every country. On Monday at Town Hall they'll  discuss where we're headed next in addressing global health.
Discussion topics include Murray's Global Burden of Disease (a study that reports on the world's health problems, how people live, and how they die), as well as Smith's research process in his portrayal of Murray.

A panel on how one man studied another man conducting a study? Sounds confusing, but interesting.

Pioneering Ideas in Global Health, Mon, Apr 13, 6:30pm, Town Hall Seattle, 1119 Eighth Ave, $5
