Panel Discussion on Gun Violence

In the wake of a series of shootings, one of them fatal, in the Rainier Valley, the 37th District Democrats are hosting a special panel discussion on gun violence in the community, including state Sen. Adam Kline (D-37), King County Council member Larry Gossett, City Council member Bruce Harrell, and community activist Harriet Walden.

Election Forum: King County Sheriff, Pot Legalization, and the Fingerprint Levy

The League of Women Voters of Seattle-King County sponsors this forum on criminal justice issues and candidates focusing on the races for King County Sheriff, the marijuana legalization initiative (I-502), and the county's automated fingerprint identification system (AFIS) levy, which matches suspects to crimes through fingerprint identification technology.
