Late-1990s Rainier Beach High School basketball star (now an NBA star with the Atlanta Hawks) runs a pros-mixed-with-amateurs summer league in Seattle, and Mayor Mike McGinn, who has coached his daughter Miyo's team and plays ball himself, suited up on Saturday to hoop with Crawford as the league hit the hardwood at the Rainer Vista Boys & Girls Club.

McGinn met Crawford because the NBA star has signed on to McGinn's nascent Attendance Campaign—an effort to increase attendance in public schools.

McGinn's numbers on Saturday: dished two assists, hauled one rebound and grabbed a loose ball in three minutes on the floor.
