Early Afternoon Jolt: McGinn Rated "Outstanding" by Obama

By Josh Feit October 21, 2010

The PI's Joel Connelly reports that President Obama called Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn "outstanding" during the President's backyard chat with neighbors in Wedgwood this morning.

Meanwhile PubliCola's Chris Kissel is with the press corps at Obama's speech at the U.W. The President and U.S. Sen. Patty Murray (who Obama's out here campaigning for) evidently just took the stage. And according to Kissel's Cola tweets, "the pres rolls up his sleeves."

Kissel also reports that Sen. Murray's "mom in tennis shoes" line got some groans.
