Anti-Tunnel Activist Joins Mayor's Staff
Tim Killian, a former candidate for City Council who was an active member of the People's Waterfront Coalition and opponent of the downtown deep-bore tunnel (he also headed up the Monorail Recall campaign and the campaign against the "four-foot rule" barring lap dances at strip clubs) will be joining Mayor Mike McGinn's staff as a "senior advisor," McGinn's office confirms. McGinn spokesman Aaron Pickus would not say any more about what Killian's role at the office will be. Killian was not immediately available for comment.
