A few weeks ago, I reported that the Single Speed Cyclocross World Championships are coming to Seattle this year (the first time the race will be held outside of Portland). The race is Sunday October 24 at Pacific Raceways in Kent, WA, but registration opened this morning and will fill up fast. Past iterations of the SSCXWC have featured bubble machines, giant windmills, and a tequila shortcut. Even if you're not inclined to actually try the muddy, anaerobic-sufferfest that is cyclocross racing, the 2010 SSCXWC promises to be spectacular fun for spectators and racers alike.
