Late Afternoon Fizz: Rep. Phyllis Kenney Considering Jacobsen Seat

By Josh Feit May 17, 2010

Senior State Rep. Phyllis Kenney (D-46, N. Seattle) called this afternoon to chastise junior Rep. Scott White (D-46, N. Seattle) for implying that he was the heir apparent to fill retiring state Sen. Ken Jacobsen's now-open seat. Sen. Jacobsen did tell us he's endorsing White. (Here's the rundown on today's Jacobsen news.)

Kenney tells us she's "seriously considering" going for the seat herself. "The district will certainly have something to say about all this," she said.

Thursday night, when the 46th District holds its endorsement meeting (it was already scheduled), might be more interesting than one of those 34th District brawls.
