If you're in the habit of checking Dino Rossi's Facebook page on a regular basis, you'll notice today that there's a new cause on his page: Dino Rossi for U.S. Senate, which has 814 members.

Is Rossi that much of a tease? Would he actually link the Rossi for Senate page—which was started by a Rossi fan named Adam Isackson—and still not officially declare his candidacy?

Rossi does not have a campaign operation, so I called the Washington State Republican Party to see if they knew what was up. Question, for example: Rossi's Facebook page says "62 recruited" to the Dino Rossi for U.S. Senate page. Does that mean Rossi (or whoever administers the site for him) is recruiting people to back a Rossi Senate run?

Peter Cowman at the WSRP says he spoke to the administrator of the Rossi Facebook page (whom Cowman identified only as "someone who was associated with Rossi's previous campaign"), says a visitor, Isackson, added the Rossi for US Senate page. And the administrator had nothing to do with getting people to join.
