This has been the weirdest week. Is this this 21st century or the 18th century?
First off, we're under attack by pirates. Yes, pirates. Pirates are the new black...er, at least the new Evildoer Du Jour. I am sure you read last week that Obama kicked some major Somali pirate ass when he single-handedly snipered down 3 pirates who hijacked the Maersk Alabama. He wore a really tight Batman like outfit and rescued me from my dungeon cell where I had to give blowjobs to toothless pirates just to survive. It was awful-slash-wonderful.

In actuality, Obama authorized force for US Navy Seals to shoot three pirates in the head and free captured US Capt Richard Phillips. Seriously, just reading that sentence gives me a hardon. Obama: the liberal, the soft pansy, the limp wristed bowler and the oft-accused "talker to enemy leaders" authorized force against a US threat. And was successful . In the days leading up to the authorization and then successful rescue, right wing pundits were blasting the Navy and Obama for trying to negotiate with the pirates for the Captain's release. But Obama remained cool and flexed some muscle and in the end, this proved to be his very own Cuban Missle Crisis.
Speaking of the 18th Century: Right wing looney tunes, showing how "off the hook" they are, demostrated against taxes by organizing "Tea Parties" across the land yesterday. Holy. Shit. Is this what Michael Steele meant by moving the Republican Party into the 21st Century? And don't try telling me it's populist outrage either. It's an embarassment.
