Post-Race President Goes Post-Religion

I would like you to look at these two photos:

And tell me we aren't totally post-religion in this country. Obama hosted the first ever White House/President-attended Seder last night. We are no longer in the days that the God in  "In God We Trust"  is Christian. We are a big melting pot of religiousity.  Feel the love of all Gods and Goddesses. When do I get to join in the Pagan Sex Orgy in the Rose Garden?

Check the record thus far:  Obama asked Rick Warren, Evangelical, Esq. to perform the convocation at the inauguration.  He also had openly-gay Episcopalian pastor Gene Robinson lead a prayer at an inauguration event. One of his first public appearances as President was on Al Arabiya TV (I want my MuslimTV!).  He roled back church and charitable deductions to Reagan-era levels and removed conscience clauses for health care workers. And the biggest of the biggest: He names a pro-gay pastor to the advisory council the Office of Faith Based Initiatives.

Impending Christian Backlash?  Too early to predict.  Plus it's Easter time, and I got to get my chocolate Jesus on.  It does make new Catholic-convert Newt Gingrich angry and excitable, but who gives a shit about that religious hypocrite?
