And, says, Senator Patty Murray, we’ll spend nearly $150 million of that booty in the name of defense. Here’s Murray’s breakdown of where more than $80 million of that will fall.

$14.5 million

for training facilities at Fort Lewis, which employs 42,000 military and civilian personnel

$16 million

to replace half a Tacoma pier used in Army Reserve boat missions

$20 million

for a new water distribution system at Whidbey Island’s naval air station

$33.9 million

for local military consumption meters, tracking electricity, water, and steam, among other utilities
